History

The Wellington Seventh-day Adventist School was originally established in 1984 by the Seventh-day Adventist Churches of the Wellington Region. The school became an Integrated Full Primary School in 1994, transferring to its current location at 58 Raiha Street, Porirua in September 1995.

To this day, Wellington Seventh-day Adventist School continues to effectively guide and support students successfully through the primary years of their education, at the same time caring for their social, spiritual and emotional well-being.

Throughout its existence, Wellington Seventh-day Adventist School has preserved a strong Christian focus. Established by the Seventh-day Adventist church, its association with the church continues, providing solid governance and leadership. The Adventist school system has been operating for over a century and is now the largest Protestant education system in the world.
