Good morning.
It's Wig Wednesday tomorrow, so students can come along and wear their wackiest, most colourful wig or hairdo.
Donations go to the Child Cancer Foundation.
Good morning,
On Thursday 24 September, the whole school will be going to Mana College for a Dress Rehearsal for the Cultural Concert.
We will be travelling by bus to and from the venue. We will be leaving school at 9:20am and returning to SDA school at 1:00pm.
As Thursday is the last day of term 3, please pick up early at 2pm.
The Cultural Concert will be in the evening from 6:00-9:00pm.
Friday 25 September is a Teacher Only Day, and the school will be closed.
Hi parents! Just a quick reminder regarding the costume for our Filipino Dance Group:
Boys:
• Plain white shirt • Red pants
Girls: • Plain white top/blouse • Black leggings
• A wrap-around cloth for the skirt for girls, hats and red neckerchiefs for boys will be provided.
Please make sure the shirts/tops are plain and free from logos or designs. We kindly ask everyone to have these ready for the upcoming performance. Thank you so much for your support and cooperation!
Message from Rue:
Hi parents! Here's what the students need to wear for the performance on Thursday the 24th:
All kids (except North Africa group):
- White t-shirt
- Blue shorts (the ones worn at school)
North Africa group:
- Girls: a simple white dress or tunic
- Boys: a white shirt, blue school shorts, and a long stick to carry
Students are encouraged to leave their performance outfits at school.
Practice:
We'll have a practice on Sunday the 20th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Please make sure your child attends!
Starting practice on the 15th, please bring your child's white t-shirt and shorts (or their North Africa costume) to practice so they can wear them. From now on, please bring their full costume to every practice.
